The Fortune lamp gets its name because of the sturdy bamboo legs as bamboo is a sign of good luck in many Asian cultures. Featuring real cocoa leaves and a simple square design， this lamp is a true show piece and conversation starter. Features fossilized cocoa leaves that are hand-placed on a standard UL lamp backing and then laminated using a non-toxic adhesive， creating each of the four sides of the lamp. The panels are handstitched using renewable abaca rope， onto a powder coated， wrought iron frame to form a square design. The body of the lamp is fastened to and supported by four bamboo poles.

A gecko lamp started it all. While vacationing in the Philippines in 2003， the founder of Eangee Home spotted the charming piece. They decided to focus their partnerships with makers in the Philippines since the concept of creating by hand and being detail oriented is part of their cultural tradition. The unique designs they offer are a result of a collaboration of their experience from years in retail， and the creative minds of the artisans with whom they work. They are committed to ensuring that all of their products are eco-friendly and are made of renewable and/or recycled materials with food- based dyes and low-impact finishes.While the business has grown， they've stayed true to their core mission of filling people's homes with sustainable products while supporting the talented makers who create them.
